Depends on how much maintenance you're willing to put into it.
Look for brands designed for your hair type and condition. Take into consideration the hair care products you use now and how would they change when you color your hair?
Look for ones that will give your hair the maxium benefit of conditioning and softening agents.
There are many brands out on the market today. Many can be used on ethnic hair. Then there are color treatment especially formulated for ethnic hair.
Do your research in oder to determine what you want out of your color solution for your hair.
In the coming months I will be addressing hair coloring for ethnic hair.
