I've written a new article about the Loch Ness Monster. Is Nessie real or not? What do you think?

Love your article, Susan!

I do believe there is something down under those mysterious waters. Something unlike any animal we now know. As to whether it is still alive or not is debatable - but it could have had offsprings. Hmmmm - I wonder?

It is possible a prehistoric type animal or amphibean could have survived and the breed continues to thrive down there.

I've been there - it is such a beautiful Loch. We've toured the museum and just enjoyed the beautiful location.

Nice article, Susan. I'd like to believe that something dwells or at one time dwelt in the waters of Loch Ness. Whether it is/was a real beast, or it remains a creature of the faery realm, what I enjoy the most about it is the magical mystery of never knowing for sure! smile

I think Shay is right. Not knowing for sure will keep the legends alive.

I was there last year easy for me it's only a few hours drive being Scottish, I doubt we will ever know due to the size and depth of the Loch. Oh and Shay it's not a Beast it's a Beastie smile

What is the difference between a "Beast" and a "Beastie", Mikie? Wait! Let me guess - a Beastie is nicer and beloved? smile That sounds right to me.

Since I think Nessie is a very lovable sort of mystery in the realm of faerie, then I guess he/she is a "Beastie".

I love the little green stuffed Nessie that Susan put at the end of her article. I have got to get one!

Nicer and beloved and Scottish, as in Rabbie Burns uses the term Beastie..

Oh and Nessie is very much a SHE... don't ask me to explain but it's a well known fact...

Thanks, Mikie! Rabbie Burns knew what he was talking about - my favorite poet/writer.

Nessie is very definitely lovable and Scottish!
