I'll answer the spider question, because I had all the other editors laughing at me about it at one time, LOL!
Spiders are basically search engines that send out "webs" to see what word searches match what people are looking for on the web.
As for the word being censored, it is in the general programming. Most bodily functions and parts are considered "cussing". The computer can't really tell the difference between the severity of a word, so it censors it all.
I actually noticed this in a movie on TNT the other night. They censored out the word "cra*", yet left in the word "G-dam", which to me seemed insane! My husband explained to me about the censoring of bodily functions. But apprently it is OK on tv to say GD.
Although, I have to admit - the movie was "Blade Trinity" which has a curse word in at least every other sentence - and listening to some of the cover words they came up with was pretty amusing.
