OK I'm in front of my TV, the Superbowl is on, and I'm waiting for the commercials! We got Chinese food and a nice glass of white wine. Maybe it's not too traditional smile But it's yummy for me!

What are you guys eating?

We had chicken wings (homemade) and mini cheesburgers that were also homemade. We have chips and dips too but the dinner was very good. I never thought about making mini cheeseburgers before and they are so simple. Just make small burgers, out them on dinner rolls with a piece of sliced tomato and some shredded lettuce and they are better than White Castle's. lol.

Bob was just grousing that we didn't get any chicken wings from the Chinese place! He has orange flavored chicken instead. And he's testing out a MGD 64 for the low carb site.

Mini cheeseburgers sound quite cute!

I am eating egg drop soup with my Chardonnay.

Look someone is down by the touchdown line! smile LOL smile I haven't even been watching the game yet really. Pittsburg!

oooo Angels and Demons! That'll be interesting.

I'm not sure if the Bud Light commercial really got me.

I am finding this car chase one pretty funny though smile How it goes through the different decades!

Lynn I am DEFINITELY watching this for the commercials. I honestly didn't know what teams were playing, since my New England Patriots are not in it. All I knew was the "yellow guys" were almost at the touchdown line when I looked up smile

The forever young commercial was neat although I didn't agree with all of the match-ups between old and new smile The Doritoes commercial was a little silly.

OK it was NOT a touchdown, and the Red Guys have the ball! smile

The Doritos commercial was unexpected smile

We watch a lot of Martial Arts stuff here, I guess it was the Jack Black being a Blues Brother I didn't think was the best match smile

I didn't really like this last set. The car commercial was boring, the Bud Light one about Sweden was all right. This is sad, usually there are a few great commercials by now! Have our ad agencies lost their spark?

LOL ok the potato head commercial was awesome smile smile

Another movie commercial ...

Grease Monkeys?? Kissing Grease Monkeys??

Medium TV. They shouldn't allow TV commercials to interfere smile

Still, I liked the potato head one!! That was brilliant where she loses her mouth - then puts on the EVIL EYES smile

Yeah on Fast and Furious I like how they are aiming for a "target audience" with fast cars and kissing women. That was rather blatant ...

I think so Lynne, some of these have just been really quiet ...

another movie commercial?? Land of the Lost?

Doritoes - making women naked?

GoDaddy - and Danika Patrick is taking a shower? With another woman? What is UP with these commercial people?? What's next, they should be kissing?

Land of the Lost - interesting..... Uhm Doritos.....silly. Go Daddy.com ....oh geez! What's going on? There are usually a better quality of commercial. Could the state of economics have something to do with this?

Pepsi Max...for men? Pedigree...oh my. Budweiser...awwwwww, now that's a commercial. LOL Though I think they are going for volume and not quality. Heroes....I agree, no TV commercials, please.

I thought the horse-fetching-a-stick one was cute, I like the Budweiser horse commercials in general. The adopt-a-dog drive was very nice, I like that they are encouraging adoption. What was before that one? Bob and I both don't remember which isn't a good sign smile

Oh! Pepsi Max with men being hurt. Yeah that was a bit iffy.

Sarah - yeah I found that GoDaddy commercial very questionable. Guys have fun sitting around watching women get naked in showers? And being able to "order" random women to get naked and take showers together?

Mission G was odd.

David Abernathy was just silly with his cars.com desire.

And really TV commercials shouldn't be allowed during the superbowl.

I agree. And I think it looks like all the Cardinals numbers start and end in 1--those silly white stripes on the insides of the uniform. Makes it look like the jerseys say 1231. Weird.

Tara - Bob really wanted wings for dinner! He is kicking himself for not getting any.

Yes I think that Clydesdale / circus horse one was great. I liked that one and the potato head one smile

In terms of uniforms I think those yellow uniforms are great, bright, easy to see.

"It's Hyndai like Sundae" smile Sort of cute.

The etrade baby with a singing African-American baby? A little cute.

A promo for tv shows again. And they're making it sound like we need 3D glasses? We don't have any 3D glasses!

I can usually see them on YouTube. I know you can get programs that mask your location but I tried one and couldn't figure it out smile It's the same with TV episodes online at the networks sites.

Death and Taxes was OK.

Flowers for Diane - WOW - evil flowers in a box? Teleflora flowers are hand arranged in a vase? That was just evil, laughing at her cat and calling her fat? So a woman is valuable if she's pretty and doesn't have a cat??

OK I like the "help kids get active" message. That is a good one.

Leno in a race car. That at least was cute.

The Leno commercial was the only one I liked in that set. It got the message across and wasn't crude or outlandish.

The flowers were just mean.

Shoot Bob got the paper and we don't have any glasses in there! Where were we supposed to get them?

So now we're watching a preview with fuzzy lines on them smile

We literally just walked in from Jordan's cheer competition (a cheerleading competition on Superbowl Sunday - how ironic can you get? This comp is always on Superbowl Sunday!)

Jordan's team took 1st place- yea!!!!

But now I'm playing catchup on the game.

I liked the Springsteen show, that was good smile

The Toyota truck show was good.

The PriceLine one was on already, so I've seen that one before.

Overstock was all right, "what is dedication"?? Kids should know that.

A little super-boy. Your inner hero - Universal Orlando?

Laughing your butt off? That's a little odd smile

Hi all! New to everything here at Bellaonline so if I goof up forgive me. Since I'm the Horses-site editor my favorite commercials are of course the Budweiser ads. Those horses are beautiful and love the interaction with the dog. Also love the adoption push! Done stuffing my face with quacamole and must go check on my own horses but will check back.

Cellphone users are cartoons if they drink coke?

A pair of moon rovers - someone stole their wheels?? That was sort of funny.

Denny's free food - interesting! I find those sorts of "annoying" commercials ... annoying smile

The worker with the moose butt over his head - that is one that has a good meaning to it. That will definitely resonate with some people!

An Irish horse! Triumph and oats! He found his true calling! I like that one.

A new Witch Mountain movie - interesting.

More TV commercials? That's just not right!

The animals stealing the coke is really cute, I like that one smile

Frosted Flakes is a little silly. Sugary cereal builds fields.

Conan's commercial is sort of cute smile

I like the "keep dreaming", that was nice.

Beer is a sword wielded with honor? I did actually like the "you choose your own destiny" idea.

I like the Dunkin message too - that you can do it - just plow in and start. That's a good message to promote!

ok now we're into the sad commercials. More TV commercials, a repeat of the fist-through-wood commercial that's been on lots of time. A commercial for Celebrity Apprentice?

Interesting, the "break the lease" and we won't hurt you. Of course most leases require a bit deposit up front so it's probably in their best interest to have people give them back the car quickly!

Coke Zero - a little odd, but Bob is laughing. The kid gets a thief's shirt? I do realize it's a homage to the previous Coke commercial smile

Cash4Gold? That really seems odd - I would bring my gold to an actual jeweler, I would never mail it blindly to a stranger ...

Just a commercial saying "you should be watching a Vizio"?

Ummm a guy harassing a girl and immediately giving her Taco Bell food? I would find that guy creepy, not attractive smile

Now they have a scarecrow without a brain advertising GE? I want a brainless person advises me on power? LOL smile

Very, very odd commercials!

I've seen the commercial before - but oddly Bob hadn't! The one where the kid gets the wind in a jar smile

MacGruber in Pepsi - and he blows up! OK that was sort of silly smile

We're at the 2 minute warning - and it's bud light lime. A pre-made corona? I like the summer-bubble idea.

GoDaddy has women showing off their "enhanced" boobs??

and more TV commercials.

I had to take a break to see another TV show. I'm thinking that I didn't miss much in the commercials.

And the Pittsburg Steelers win! What a wild finish with those last minute touchdowns.

They should give hazard pay to those photographers! They are getting pushed all around ...

I watch The Unit. It was a rerun but the one that I had missed and very important to the plot of the whole series.

I've never seen that! I am trying to wean myself off a show or two, but maybe I'll get that on DVD sometime when I am on vacation smile

So what was everyone's favorite commercial? I still like that potato head one smile The horses-in-love one was good too!
