I'd love to see photos from Alaska, from any of our Alaska visitors! I adore Alaska so much and wish I could visit more often! Please post some photos! Here's a photo I took at Exit Glacier a few years ago, to get us started

It's a good thing you took the photo of the glacier when you did; it may not be there anymore. Alaska is gorgeous.

Lisa, I'll be happy to share some of the many photos I have of Alaska as soon as I figure out how. Hopefully, it won't take me too long.

Hi Nancy6, If you click on "Edit" below your post, it will bring up a bunch of buttons. The 4th button from the left is the "Add Images" button. I'm still learning all this myself so I hope this helps you. Have fun!

OK, I am going to take a shot at uploading an image from my "Alaska photos" page. This photo was taken in Whittier, Alaska - a tiny town along the shores of Prince William Sound. A definite "must see" for tourists! Let me know what you think.

OK, I am more than happy to share more photos of our beautiful state of AK with you! How about a photo of our home - a home that we built ourselves, starting out with cutting trees (which we carefully harvested for firewood), clearing land for our house, barn and shop buildings, and finally actually building our house! We started clearing land in 1997 and this photo was taken, I think, in 2001. Lots of work but very rewarding! Cheers, -Deb

During our two week vacation in Alaska, I think I took approximately 1600 photos. Of course, about 500 of them are of Hubbard Glacier. I tried to capture some of the calving. I have one of those super fast shutters that takes 45 pictures in a matter of a few seconds. I did that with the whales, as well. Tell me how to attach photos, I'd love to share!

Hi Donna, At the top of each new post, you should see a line of boxes. The fourth from the left is the "Image" box. Click on it and it should lead you through uploading a photo.
I was able to view your photo myself (moderator perk <g>), and loved it! You might need to re-size it before you can put it up on the forum though. I usually try to make them no more than about 20-30MB. Let me know if you need help.
