I didn't cheat by reading the other answer. The length of the course is around 1,000 miles, but it varies depending on the tracking devices used and the trails traveled.

Trevor1 is exactly right! The word "moose" is American Indian and in the dialect the word is from, words are the same no matter how many of them there are  PM me your address and I'll send that out!
