I would like to see recipes for both easy and gourmet desserts since different occasions call for different types of desserts. For a specific dessert, I've been wanting to make Red Velvet Cupcakes and would love to see a recipe for those. Thanks!

I'll be posting Cherries Jubilee around President's day. I'm testing recipes now.

I'll start looking. I have several German and Russian cookbooks, so one of them may have that recipe. It sounds like something everyone will like and one that will be fun to test.

For clarification, when you call it Napolean do you mean that is in the name, or is it Napolean like the puff paste dessert with several layers?

I'd like to read more recipes using fresh fruits! That don't cook the fruit but feature them in the dish fresh!

Also, fruit ices or granitas. Refreshing and healthful.

Thank you Chef Bridges... this sounds like a wonderful Napoleon cake recipe. I think the sour cream in the pastry might very well be like my grandmothers. I will let you know.
