New trends in hair styles always come in together with the new fashion and accessory trends as the new year starts. This 2008, short hair cuts are one of the biggest and most popular hairstyle trends.
A lot of individuals including celebrities are choosing to sport these short hair cuts. Versatile and easy to maintain, short hair styles offers a wide range of styles. One may choose a short hair style depending on her age, personality, or even just personal style.
If you have had long hair for a while, choosing to get a short hair cut might be a bit scary. Before you go to your favorite stylist and ask for a short hair cut, consider the following:

* Choose a style that will work for your hair texture;
* Find a style that complements the shape of your face; and
* Remember talk to your stylist as most professional hair stylist can help you choose a style that will work best for you.

f you already have short hair, you may choose to update your hair cut by getting bangs. Bangs or fringes are a great way to add versatility to your look and bring attention to your facial features. Bangs may range from very short style bangs, blunt bangs, and side swept bangs.

When updating your look, just remember that your hair style should work in your favor. If you are always on the go, choose a low maintenance style or one that does not require a lot of upkeep. Keep in mind that your hairstyle should complement your entire being your looks as well as your personality.

Another look I like is bangs with poker straight long hair.

I like the short, shaggy look. Meg Ryan's hair is sometimes short and messy-looking, and I love it! I can't remember what she was in with that look, but I'm sure I've seen it on her a few times. Maybe Top Gun was one of them....

I love Katie Holmes' hairstyle. It is free and tumbles around her face and looks easy to care for.

Seems that Victoria Beckham Pixie Hair is a smash hit and milkmaid braids are also celebrity picks for 2008 fall hair style!
I found this hair trend on a celebrity fashion site called DresslikeStarz which is quite informative!

Right now heavy bangs are very much in style Rebekah. I love the look of them but not everyone can wear them. The look is long bangs - in your eyes! Not everyone can stand that. smile

Meg Ryan's short messy hair was great. I think she is wearing long hair now.

I have seen so many Victoria Bekham cuts in the state where I live that I'm getting tired of it. I like a style until I see it on EVERYONE.

Katie Holmes style is one of my favorites. It will be in style longer and look well on more people because it doesn't have severe lines.

I love Victoria Beckham's pixie - but you have got to have a perfect face to pull that off! (Which of course, she does - irksome, LOL!)

True, looks like the pixie style is really cute on lemon shaped heads. I have an apple shaped head, slightly (yes slightly!) wider than your average lemon shaped head. I love the pixie cuts tho! Too cute!
