It's been proved over and over again that progressive taxation improves the conditions for all, and encourages economic growth. During the period when FDR was elected until about 1980 our economic growth was greater than any time in history. But since then we've embraced trickle down economics which has proved not to work.
Today we have a huge income disparity, more greed, more anger, more national debt and more unsafe and unfair work places.
We need to reenact many of the New Deal policies such as progressive taxation, labor protection, protect social security, job creation, more programs for our GIs.
These programs and this type of government was successful. Don't buy the lies that they were not. Just do some research for yourself about how successful each area was.
