Twisty boards are cheap, great fun, and are no time investment at all. You simply leave one by the couch and hop on it for five minutes during commercials. Even five minutes can really help out a lot smile

True Lisa!

Yesterday did an hour on the twist board while reading online in my office.

Will do more of the same today.

You are just amazing Jilly!! Twisting for an hour!

Now that James' room is clean, I think when he goes home tomorrow that I will set up a DVD player up there and move the yoga mat up there in front of his TV. It's worth a try to see if there's enough space in there for that to work.

Okay three hours on the twist board yesterday. It's easy when reading on the computer. smile

That sounds good about using the guest/james' room as a yoga studio. Good luck!

In my office it wouldn't be easy to do computer work while twisting, I usually do a lot of coding and typing which I don't think i could do while twisting. What I have to do is balance more away-from-computer time and find a way to incorporate that into my schedule.

Today was cleaning the kitchen day, I did get the entire floor clean and ran the Scooba three times! So that was a fair amount of exercise to get the floor clean. Tomorrow I will run Scooba another 3 times then reassemble the kitchen only with necessary items. So that will be more exercise and the Kitchen will be clean!! Hurrah!

Then Tuesday Bob gets his tooth pulled so that day will be all spoken for. But that means Wednesday should be quiet and I an give a try at a James room yoga room creation!

Ah that makes sense. When I was exercise biking I would read Wil Wheaton's logs about Star Trek and found that vastly amusing. I should find something else like that to read in short bursts so I can exercise while I do it. That might get me to get up and do it. Otherwise for some odd reason I can't seem to justify the time to exercise. Odd as that might sound! But really I am getting quite caught up, the house is getting clean, so I am feeling more and more like I can make time for "taking care of Lisa" stuff like exercise.

Good on you Lisa! It's a nice feeling to get things cleaned and uncluttered - it feels like your spirit gets lighter too.

I love Wil's logs too - I also follow him on twitter - he posts quite a bit, always interesting.

Yesterday didn't do any workouts, today I did 1.5 hrs on the twistboard and i think i will go up and do more. I have two more ebooks to read so i may as well workout while i do them.

We are here to support your "taking care of Lisa" time! smile smile

It's amazing how my energy levels change based on what I eat. I just had a snack of flax / soy chips with salsa. Suddenly I am really tired!
