Buenos das. El hoy is domingo. Est un da muy bonito. Haba cuatro bautismos en iglesia esta maana. Cuatro bebs y ellos eran tan buenos. Despus de masa, mi suegra y yo fuimos a un restaurante para el desayuno. Soy perezosa ahora.

Hola!

Cules son usted que hace este verano?
What are you doing this summer?

Voy a vacacin pronto.
I am going on vacation soon.

Are these sentences written correctly?

Hmm... I would have shortened the first question conversationally to simply "Que hace este verano"... or locally "Que onda" (more of a "what's going on with you" sort of thing.

Este verano estoy trabajando (I'm working this summer). No tengo tiempo para vacacion (I just don't have time for vacation).

Es Espaa usamos "vacaciones".

Las estructuras ms comunes son:

"estar de vacaciones"
"tener vacaciones"

La palabra "vacacin", en singular, no se usa mucho. Bueno, creo que no se usa... nada! :-)

Here's a fairly decent breakdown of the differences in usage between para and por.

500 fotos! 2000 fotos!

Son muchas fotos! :-)

(Oh, by the way, "foto" is one of those words that seems to be masculine, but in fact it is just an abreviation for "fotografa", which is feminine, so "foto" is also feminine.) (Las fotos)

Sobre mi ciudad, hay muchas, muchas cosas ms para ver aqu. Quizs la prxima vez? :-)

But that's common among English speakers, it is just a question of practice. There are other similar words like: el tema, el dilema, el anagrama, el teorema... ;-)

entender / comprender - Notes in Spanish Forum

I'm talking about the answer starting: "Here's my take on ensear, mostrar: ..." (Note the answer is about 2 different questions: ensear / mostrar and entender / comprender.

Com se dice 'between' between entender y comprender Es: "entre entender y comprender".
