I had lunch yesterday with my sister Betty in Napa, and met someone whose son is a "call box inspector"... never heard of it! That made me think of jobs that aren't around anymore - hope you can add to the list!
1) Iceman (delivered ice door to door - originally in a horse-drawn wagon)
2)Milkman (sorry for the PC incorrectness in using "man" on these - but they were men!)
3) Bus (train) conductor
Add some jobs you can remember!

I was actually driving through the mountains (from GA to Cherokee, NC) and stopped at this little tiny gas station and this really nice teen DID pump my gas for me!
I was a real idiot, because that had never happened before - I'm standing there going "what do I do?" LOL!

Yeah, we went through the same thing when we were in Oregon - we drove all over trying to find a self serve gas station!
