Would really like to get more participants here on the forum - lots of lurkers and readers that don't post - and in order to really serve everyone, I need to know what you like to talk about, what interests you, what bores you. YOU can start a post as well, on topics of your choosing, you don't have to wait for me to post a topic!
For example - no one has posted books on the request for input for a Senior Issues Book Club - so it looks as if that isn't going to happen. My tasks here on Bella Online are to act as a facilitator and volunteer, to make the forums and the Senior Issues Site available, interesting and viable for the readers.
Look forward to hearing from you on what you'd like to see here - and on the Bella Senior Issues site.

I would like to see some information, advice, experiences on meeting people and dating. Most of the men my age (over 60) are knocking themselves out (and will probably drop dead of a heart attack any day) trying to impress women 20 years or more younger than they are.
What happened to growing old gracefully? Some of the most beautiful women I know are over 60 and have a wealth of wisdom and love to give and share and are looking for some caring man to make wonderful memories with.

Hey Phyllis - growing old gracefully is something many say when talking about OTHER seniors - not themselves - they don't consider themselves aging... And the double standard here, that older women and younger men are not acceptable, is another roadblock to success in dating as a senior. Will do some research on it (can I contact you privately?!) and see if I can do an article or two on it!

Sure, Laura, you can contact me privately. I think an article on this subject would be a great idea - I have lots I could tell you!
Thanks.
