I've never been good with plants at all, but I have a pot of mint that I started from seed a few months ago. The pot is on my balcony, which faces east and gets a lot of sun, but still has a canopy to keep it cooler and more shaded. The pot I used is one of those self-watering ones with the reservoir underneath. I admit that I don't water the mint every week, but I do try to check it once every ten days or so. It seems to be keeping moist. However, some of the leaves are turning red. They aren't crinkly or brown, but rust-colored. Is my mint too hot or dry? Will this affect harvesting the mint? Thank you so much for your input! smile
