What do you think of American Idol contestants' feat to sing "one last time"? Last night, Brooke White choked through her words and it almost brought me to tears! I think it's pretty harsh to make the contestants sing when they've just gotten booted off the show...I'm curious to read some responses!

They actually had, I think it was, two shows this season where they had the bottom two contestants sing their songs before the vote off.
It was much better for all.

I cried with Brooke too.

I've always felt it was wrong to make them sing after being voted off. If I remember correctly there was one person a season or two ago who refused to sing.

Once in a while Ryan will ask them if they want to sing and I thought Brooke or was it Kristy Lee who said she didn't want to sing but Ryan just gave her the microphone anyway.
