BellaOnline Forums TV and Movies Specialty Channels What's your favorite specialty channel?

My favorite is the Food Network and I like certain shows on BBC America. I heard recently that Oprah will be starting her own TV network and I am sure I will be watching that one too.

It is difficult for me to pick a favorite specialty channel because I usually have only one show that I watch on each channel. For ABC Family, it is "Kyle XY". For BBC America, it is "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares".

If I really had to pick one, it would probably be Current TV. That the channel I turn to when I don't want to watch anything in particular but I need something to keep me company while I fold laundry or surf the internet.

I really like Food Network. I'm a terrible cook, but I like watching people who can do it right.

Oh wow. This is a tough one, glad I can choose more than one.

I thought of another one....Animal Planet.

I love PBS. They always have such intriguing specials that I get sucked into no matter what I'm doing. This Sunday they're airing what looks like it will be a very interesting documentary on Muslim-American comedians post-9/11 called Stand Up: Muslim American Comics Come of Age. I'm definitely going to be watching - everything they show is well-balanced and well-done.
