Rosie - Jilly is exactly right. Don't try to start with your foot up above your knee. Instead, just have your foot rest against your other foot's ankle. Just practice balancing on one foot like that. It might be hard at first but it gets easier every day! I remember when I first tried it that I kept tipping over
Just start VERY easy so if you start to tip your foot is right there.
Yes the cherry blossoms are *gorgeous* on Nantucket during the wine festival time. I always adore it.
