I'd have to agree that it does seem kind of funny that it had to be specified that they were 'pagan' prayer beads.
Personally, I've never worn or used such a thing but I did make a choker type of one for a friend at one time when he needed help grounding himself years back.

Prayer beads are something not many Pagans talk about, although as a group, we are big on spiritual tools and sacred objects. I think this is something that I'm going to find more and more people are already doing as I ask around about it.

When I heard about the book Pagan Prayer Beads, I think that's when I started thinking about devotional wearables. Here's one that I made especially for me, based on my astrological sign, capricorn.

You do beautiful work Tiamat. A few years ago, I read Erynn Rowan Laurie's "A Circle of Stones," which inspired me to create a set of prayer beads for my Brighid devotionals. I think it is a beautiful tradition to pray with beads.
