Nothing yet -- but get this -- someone else sent in an AWESOME letter!! Here it is:
"It's fine to buy glass baby bottles, fancy baby dishes and cloth diapers. It's also great to buy cloth shopping bags, scooters, and "green" cleaning supplies. But the manufacturing of all these products still destroys the environment. We are simply not going to buy ourselves out of the looming global catastrophe. Over-consumption is partly how we got here in the first place. The more eco-friendly choice is to not have kids. Or if you feel like you must have kids, adopt them. If you really care about the planet, don't reproduce. (signed, a man's name)"
Simone de Beauvoir dismissed motherhood as, "...'a strange mixture of narcissism, altruism, idle daydreaming, sincerity, bad faith, devotion and cynicism."
