It turns out that the information you posted is part of an Our Gang urban legend:

I used to love watching those old re-runs when I was a kid. I'm glad to know they didn't all die young and come to bad ends.

I love Snopes. Every time someone sends me some email scare alert I check there first and mostly find they are false.

"Spanky;
Robert Blake was accused of killing his wife."

Often one can tell false information by the fact that it is plainly incorrect.

Robert Blake was not Spanky.

Another caution is incomplete information, ie., "Darla;
The Our Gang leading lady" or "Butch;Currently lives in California"

No real names known?

You know something Frank, it may be more helpful if you searched for the names and posted them instead of criticizing.

You know I do not believe I have ever seen a post from you that doesn't criticize something or someone. If there is one, please point me in the direction of it.

Frank, watch this:

Spanky was played by George McFarland and was not part of the original cast.

Darla was played by Darla Hood

Alfalfa was played Carl Switzer

Jackie was played by Jackie Cooper

Farina was played by Allan Hoskins but was replaced by Stymie when Farina got to old. Stymie was played by Matthew Beard and was given the name Stymie by the director because the boy was always underfoot. The director said of him, "That kid stymies me."

Robert Blake played a character named Mickey

See Frank? It wasn't that hard.

Nice response, Vance. smile It does get tiresome to see negativity in the forums and I like how you responded to that.
