I didn't realize naan had yeast in it. In Kenya, I was told naan was a dry chapati. So, I always though naan was made like chapati, but without putting oil on the outside of it. Interesting.

This is great. I love naan bread, especially with soups and curries. This recipe from the link below actually reads as if it'll be quite simple to make. But will it??? We shall see tomorrow.

My mom used to make naan under the broiler and then flip to do the other side instead of just baking. So, of course, I do it that way as well. It gets the brown spots that naan made tradionally usually has. You just have to watch it every second, but it does cook fairly quickly.

I love it and most of my friends that I've made it for have as well.
