Well known actor, Patrick Swayze, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. While early reports indicated he only had five weeks to live, his oncologist has stated that Swayze only has a limited amount of disease and his prognosis is good.

I was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in August of 06. In November I had a major procedure to remove th cancer and in January of 07 I had Chemo and radiation. I just turned 55 yesterday and am still serviving. I hope Patrick can be a survivor too.

Thank you Matman for sharing -- it's wonderful to hear stories of people beating cancer! I'm encouraged and want to share a similar story about my brother-in-law (age 57).

He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer June 2007. The tumor was blocking his bile duct and he was jaundiced. He had an 8 hour surgery to remove it, then had chemotherapy for 6 months.

He read up on alternative healing methods and decided on the Hallelujah Acres diet (www.hacres.com). He did this throughout the chemo and last month they did a scan and no cancer cells were found!

He and I both believe it was God's healing power and this diet that made all the difference!
