WestCoastDenise, I don't necessarily want to teach Geography, but you were right in the first case. Wisconsin (even if it borders one the Great Lakes and can be called a Great Lakes State) is a Mid Western states. Phyllis, BellaEd, on the other hand is not correct. Nevada is a Western state; therefore, not a Mid Western State. There are sub-categories within each region, but there are four regions of the USA and the states don't move.
