I voted for the cold. Peanut Butter Pie with chocolate chips straight out of the freezer would have to be my favorite. However, I certainly wouldn't turn down a hot dessert either.

When possible, warm.
Warm pie, warm cake, warm cookies, warm brownies... yeah, most of my favorites are best on the warm side.

It really depends on the season!
I am in New England so in the middle of winter a slice of hot apple pie is the best while in the summer a slice of cold and chilly ice cream cake tickles my fancy.
