Golden may be perfect for you. However, burgandy is a cool color and golden is a warm color. Do you know whether your complexion is warm or cool? If your complexion looked great with the burgandy, it may not look great with the golden.

I agree with Lynne, if Burgundy color suits u then u must not try golden, Try Golden Brown.

Depending on what your natural color is, golden will bring out the red. I have chestnut brown, so I use medium golden brown and my hair comes out dark brown but in the sun or under lights it looks like auburn. I get compliments all the time. I use Loreal preference or Feria. The Feria has been giving me reactions lately, but it gives the best color. The preference hides my grey better.

I used to use the Preference Medium Golden Brown as well and got the same results as Nancy did. I used this product for about 16 yrs. I am now considering going grey and I tried a Revlon product (cant think of the name) with a cap....it gives highlights. I liked the effect. I left it on as long as the instructions said to, but next time I will wash it out sooner as it really bleached out my hair, which is better than it turning red as it normaly does when I try to lighten it.

Hi everyone. I'm new to the boards. So far I'm just reading along and getting the feel for it.
I love hair and makeup!
As far as haircolor, the last time I colored my hair I tried Nice & Easy's Perfect10. It comes with an applicator that at first I thought wouldn't work well. I was pleasantly surprised. Also, it really did just take 10 minutes and my hair turned out really well.
Has anyone here tried it yet?

I have to admit, I never do the strand test. I suppose I should, but I've never had a reaction. Never say never, I suppose.
