Yep, when you do not have the memorys, just Impressions or emotions of some thing wrong, and all the signs are there, but you cant belive it cos you don't want to, as it does not actually register in your memory as a 'picture' just a vauge feeling . How do you deal with that?

That's always something I've been curious about. How can you really know something from early childhood is a real memory - or just something you've heard or even seen on TV?

Perhaps hypnosis might help. You would have to really trust the person!

I have never had it done myself, but have been curious about it.

The problem is that many of the hypnosis "recovered memories" situations have later proven to be false - implanted there by the person doing the hypnosis either intentionally or accidentally.

Back when Sybil the movie came out, tons of people suddenly felt they had repressed issues in their past. It was like a hysteria. But they found that many of those people were just wound up by the movie.

I think because of the emotion you feel inside, or kind of deja vou feelings. There is a difference between feeling 'that is awful, how disgusting' and 'that is awful, oh my God! I recognise that feeling, somehow I KNOW that feeling'

Also the trouble with phycologists is that they do not belive in 'spirit' they think everything has a logical explaination. I do not believe in everthing Freud had to say on therapy and his Ideas but I do belive in suppressed memories. and the idea that things hide in the sub conscious and them pop up unexpectedly, because they have been repressed.
