Jilly, that's exactly what I recommend for everyone who can't walk outside or go to a gym. I do it myself. I do mostly Leslie Sansone's steps (I just don't usually watch the dvd--I watch other stuff & do the same steps, with a little freestyling mixed in!).

Now, my cable has exercise on demand, so on the rare occasions I have some free time, I'll explore/try some of those.

But, an hour or two a day? You're a superwoman!

Lisa, good for you on that bike! You must be riding really hard! Make sure to stretch your quads!

Well i don't run really fast. i have to be able to watch Grissolm and Sara use their special forensics techniques, after all. It's really easy to just keep going when you are watching a movie or show or something. Otherwise I just end up back on the computer. I feel guilty just watching TV without being productive. smile

Jilly - really, you are doing aerobics from memory. That's how the aerobics coaches do the aerobics after all!! So you shouldn't feel silly at all. As long as you're active and having fun, that's what matters! Think of it as dancing - when you dance, that is *wonderful* exercise but nobody tells you you have to dance in a certain way smile

OK I haven't done my bike ride yet today, I am getting on the bike now!

I'm up to 19 minutes now!! I'm about to cross the 20 minute threshhold!! Hurrah, and I've lost almost 4 pounds already!

See, this stuff works!

Anybody else out there making even tiny progress? smile

okay yesterday i did two hours of walking/jogging in place during Biggest Loser "couples" reruns. Unfortunately I did this barefoot. I really need to get some decent indoor workout shoes. This can't be good for my feet. i did a little stretching after, but not as much as I should.

Then, today i shoveled snow and carried boxes for my move in. That is a tough workout - whew!

I was a bit tired yesterday, so walked in front of the TV instead of jogged. While watching the Biggest Loser Couples eps.

Hopefully I will be able to get down the hill today and take a look at some treadmills.

Good for you Betty!! Walking is so good for you!

I hit 20 minutes on my bike finally! Or maybe even 21 - I think I did three sets of 7 minutes. I also did 26 sit ups.

I'm down to 134.4 from a high of almost 140 last week, so this has been pretty quick. I have a formal dinner on Sunday that I'm aiming for right now, to be slimmer for my dress.

My biking skills are improving! Last night I did two 15-minute sets and the tops of my legs are no longer in agony when I bike. Now I'm just "tired" but not in pain when I'm done. I might actually be ready for the heart rate monitor to see what my heart rate is while I bike!

I haven't done more sit-ups though. I need Bob for those since he has to stand on my feet.
