Biting is a source of much worry for nursing moms, but is most often a temporary problem. Check out my article below and post your comments, advice or questions about biting here!
Babies do bite. My oldest used to think it was a huge joke (when he was bout 9 months old just after he got his teeth). I used to just stick my finger in their mouth and release their grip. But mostly I had no problem they were more interested in getting the milk ;-)
Overwhelmingly, I get bit when my baby has remnants of food in her mouth. Aside from that, with my first, there was small amounts of "testing," but my natural reaction seemed to do away with that pretty quickly. :-)
