just completed ffx, and thought the ending was great. thanks to lisa and sepiroth_the_great and all the other people who helped me.

anybody know anything about the sequel? hear they are already making it but nothing else!

ff 11 is NOT going to be the sequel. That game is already made, and is made to be played online. It has been getting mixed reviews. I have no definite news on the sequel, though the general consensus is that it will be ff 12.

Does that mean it'll not be on the Playstation2 or are we gonna have to buy more equipment to put it online!!!!!

I'm pretty sure that I heard somewhere (might wanna ask lisa on this) that they have an adaptor for the ps2 to make it compatable with the internet. So you would still use your game console. And I'll paste up the site as soon as I can remember where I got them from <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

FF XI is online only, and played through the PS2 thanks to a pricey extention

To play ff11 you're going to need the network adapter which is coming out on the 27 of august for $39.99 and the ps2 hard drive, but ff11 itself won't come out until next year sometime and you can expect to pick up some kind of ff11 + network adapter + hard drive bundle then anyway. But that is if you really want to spend so much money for just one game

you have lost me - why does the game have to be played over the net and if it is played over the net can we play against each other?

I guess it works just like other online games out there, like Everquest, Asherons Call, Dark Ages of Camelot etc etc... that's my impression, anyway. I am not sure <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
