There is an amino acid, called THEANINE which activates neural regions that enhance our abilithy to focus. It makes us feel good and helps us pay attention. It is "real tea", which is either black, green, white or oolong varieties. It comes from the leaves of Camellis Sinensis, a white flowering evergreen. Tea bags were invented by John Sullivan in New York around 1904, using real silk for the bag.
Herbal teas are made from other plants. Since herbal teas come from other plants, are they considered "real teas" with the same benefits in the neural regions of the brain OR other parts of our bodies?
