Hi folks
I am Wollie Woehler, new Editor of the Neuromuscular Diseases page.
My passion in life is to try and make a possitive difference in other people.s lives. I am looking forward to meeting you all in our Cyber corner.
It is almost 11:30 PM in South Africa, time to go to bed but not before I welcome all of you to the Neuromuscular Diseases Forum. We will talk about the different types of diseases as result of mulfunctioning muscles and nerves. Coping with day-to-day challenges and whatever subject comes along. I live with Charcot-Marie-Tooth(CMT) and therefor have first-hand experience of all the challenges of a deteriorating disease.

Disorders of the Neuromuscular Junction;
Nerves communicate with muscles at the neuromuscular junction. When a nerve stimulates a muscle at the neuromuscular junction, the muscle contracts.
Neuromuscular junction disorders include Myasthenia Gravis,
Eaton-Lambert Syndrome, and Botulism.
