Check saliva pH. Most with FMS have a problem with all clear fluids in the body being very acidic. Saliva pH needs to stay at about 7.0 for the body chemistry to function correctly.

Get little paper test strip paper dispenser at your local health food stores. They think it's just for urine, but we only test saliva pH.

www.FibroFix.com is an all free site. Tells how to test, what to not eat, etc.

Hi, Anne,
Enjoyed your site. Very informative. I didn't bring up pH because it tends to confuse most folks. I'm glad you attempted it and got more specific with foods. The general pattern of eating more fruits and vegetables will swing an acid pH more alkaline. Your list may help folks with more specifics. I found the site below also specifically listed foods. I like that it has more vegetables on its list. I do realize if a person's digestive system is compromised, then eating more vegetables can be more problematic. I was helped by dietary supplements as mentioned at the National Fibromyalgia Association (NFA) site:

The list doesn't have a lot of veggies because I was just lazy and posted a few things I thought of.

We do very well with lean protein and veggies.

On treatment we don't struggle with much.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner; I don't get auto notification from this site.

Maybe there's a way to do that.

Hope you will join us on the MySpace FibroFix group. It's very new. There's a link from the front page at FibroFix.

I think you will appreciate the information and maybe you will find others to talk to about this treatment and other FMS issues.

Anne
