I don't know about this blog, but i do know the official Darwin Awards are all confirmed true stories before they are awarded. And yes, it's true... hahhaha... they are awarded mostly to men! Coincidence? hahhaha.

It's also tipped highly in favor of the innebriated.

I have a girlfriend who was in France on vacation. They had rented a car and were stuck in traffic. They asked someone what was wrong that was on foot. It turned out that he was an Englishman who lived in France. He told them that a guy had decided to take a leak onto the train tracks.

He evidently forgot that the third track in the middle is electrically charged, his urine stream hit that electrified track, the electrical charge traveled up the stream and killed the guy. What a way to die?

Sometimes i have found it very funny, and at other times i think of the family and what they went through and then it isn't so funny.

True. Manytimes we find it funny if it happens to someone else.

Well when we read the stories of the Darwin Awards, we don't see the person as a real person, we only read about their last moments. They don't even print the whole name of the "winners," so it is very de-personalized.
