I recently visited to India. And i had a great time there. Its agreat country with all the culture and heritage. ANd its very hot

But its not expensive at all. I must say this.

Can you relate one or two experiences in India that you really liked?

There is a lot that could be said about travelling in less-developed countries on a developed country traveller's budget.

On the one hand, tourism is big busines and brings in wealth to the local economy. On the other hand there is a lot of room for exploitation, not necessarily just by the tourists, but by everyone in the chain. It really is a fascinating topic.

At the practical level, though, where did you find good value and what would you recommend to others?
