It's hard to go wrong with reading! laugh

I want to read Patricia Cornwell!... i've heard many good things about her books from one of my students who is quite a reader, too. I read an historical novel recently by Bernard Cornwall... (no relation). He's the author of the Sharpe's Rifles series that was made into a mini-series, i think by BBC. Anyway, i have been enjoying his books. smile Where would you recommend i get started with Patricia Cornwell?

I used to read mysteries, too, but now i mostly just watch them on Mystery (PBS).

I am looking forward to see the smile on my son's faces. They bought a new TV today and will get it by afternoon.

I have gotten some things done today and i'm looking forward to making Salad Nicoise for supper, with some very fresh locally grown green beans that a friend brought to me. Then i'm going to watch a mystery on public television while i do another sorting project, and then i think i will read and go to bed early.

It's funny how a slight shift in attitude can make ordinary tasks very enjoyable. I am happy.

How did your sons like the t.v? smile

Today i am looking forward to a fresh currant scone and coffee!

And i'm looking forward to seeing how the day plays out... i have been very excited about all these new ideas and putting them into play. I'm starting to enjoy the challenge of my issues, rather than feeling quite so burdened by the thought of them.

I'm also looking forward to talking to people here at Bella. smile

Today I am looking forward to going for coffee with an old friend of mine. We went for coffee once a couple weeks ago. But before that we have not seen or talked to eachother in 6 years!!

I'm also looking forward to how I will feel after I do some walking today. For some reason when ever I plan on exercising I don't really look forward to it, but then after I do it I feel fantastic, so Im really looking forward to how I will feel after my walk.

Oh, and Holly, this thread is a fantastic idea! I really have to start participating every day smile

'Where would you recommend i get started with Patricia Cornwell?'

I have read two of her books which I can recommend, if you like murder mysteries.

POST MORTEM and ALL THAT REMAINS.

I am looking for more.

AF.

They love the new TV. Being challenged rather than burdened?
Great shift in thoughts!

We do not lift the max. weight in the first attempt.
we go adding weights over days.
Challenge can not be confronted at one go.
Take it slowly.
enjoying life is more important.
