Good morning Sue. I am a fellow spinner and fiber addict (that sounds a bit like an AA introduction doesn't it?). I wanted to let you and your readers know that there are "purists" out there. I too hinted to my husband that I would like to learn to spin. Instead of going to a spinning shop and purchasing a new wheel, my husband, Mike, went to an estate sale and bought my "daily driver" a wheel that dates back to the early 1800's. He then has fabricated the missing parts, and has taken up wheel repair. So if your readers are looking for anyone in the wheel repair business, please feel free to pass on my e-mail address.
