Today i am grateful for... friends who care about me. Life going on as usual. Making fresh bread... the process, smell and sharing it with friends.

Today I'm grateful for my sister letting me borrow her car while mine is getting serviced.

Peachy, did you get your car running again yet?

Today i am grateful for sweet cherries!

and for the movie Pleasantville, which reminds me that life is not supposed to be any particular way (and i shouldn't have rigid expectations)

and for my cat, Fisher... who came to me "a troubled youth" a few months ago but who has learned not to bite, and is becoming affectionate and a good companion.... funny, too!

Today i am grateful for meeting Holly on this forum.

I agree das, Holly is great to talk to and that is one thing I am grateful for.

I am also grateful for the wonderful dinner the inlaws prepared for us this evening. It was delicious! Ribs, wild rice, corn, and chocolate cake with fresh strawberries! mmmm

I am grateful for my life, and for being able to make some positive changes in my life, and to those who have helped, and are helping me along the way.

Today I am grateful for all our veterans, those serving and those who have served to keep our country free. I pray for all those who have lost a family member in a war. I am grateful to have shared Memorial Day with friends at a Veteran's cemetery service celebrating this day of rememberance and being able to add flowers there to my father's grave.

We just finished up the school year, and I am going to miss Jordan's 4th grade teacher so much! He is one of those rare finds that truly cares about the kids and makes learning fun.

Parents are already fighting over him for next year, LOL!
