I saw today that AmericanGreetings.com is making all of their ecards and printable greeting cards free thru May 17. They just redesigned their site and are doing this free promotion to let people try out the site. Usually they have you sign up for a 30 day free trial, but for this you can just go on the site, send as many ecards as you want and be done with no obligation.

Most e-cards are so dorky. I am an adult with sophisticated taste. Why do all the sites look like they designed for a 10 year old and that goes for checks too. Or am I the only picky person on this planet.

You might want to try Jacquie Lawson's ecards. Her cards are beautifully done - especially the holiday cards. She has a nice blend of raster and vector art. She uses raster images for her backgrounds to give the cards a sophisticated style and her animations are quite complex.

Maybe a bit late, but you can also try Ojolie.com. Diane has written a review of the site before.

Free Ecard Funny is a small greeting card site but has some well done flash animations.
