I found this story on how the long-lived Hatfield and McCoy feud might have been fueled in part by a genetically inherited disease known as Von Hippel-Lindau Syndrome that was passed down through the McCoy family somewhat interesting. The disease increases blood pressure, stimulates frequent fits of anger and hostility, and eventually leads to tumors and death.

I wonder who else has this syndrome?

In all seriousness, it sounds like a terrible disorder.

Here's link to the story:

Disease underlies Hatfield-McCoy Field

In the same way all the emotions that we have should be inherited?
what do you say?

Good question. Although from what I've read, it's not so much that specific emotions are inherited as that one can inherit a tendency towards certain personality disorders, such as paranoia, anxiety, etc..., and apparently including a "bad temper" in some cases. So it's not that the disorder causes a person to be angry/anxious/suspicious at a specific moment in time so much as it increases the likelihood that that will be your response in certain situations.

In situations where scientists have detected a genetic factor involved in personality disorders, one of the basic tests that is always conducted is to see whether twins raised in separate households are equally likely to suffer from it. So yes, obviously that would have to be the case, or else you couldn't conclude it was genetic; it might be merely environmental.

I found an article on this rare disorder and will leave a link below on the Hatfield and McCoy genetic disorder.
