I am at the point right now where my business or public speaking wouldn't be a problem. I am known as Jase. My speaking website is called All About Jase ;0) My design company name is Designs By Jase. I only use the Jase Ruel when I write. When I sign legal things it's Jason P. Ruel.
So now is a time when it wouldn't be so difficult to do. ;0)

However, after thinking it over and talking it out, I do like Jase Denton. Blogg is a former name which I was born with but didn't grow up with. The expected thing all my life of complaining about my last name is to change it to Blogg... so maybe Denton by itself is a clean break. Still I am identifiable and it still have a familial connection.

I have already started to test the waters with the name. My email now says it is from Jase Denton in the from line.
I still sign it Jase and the Jason P. Ruel, BellaOnline's Editor blah blah blah because of the legal ramifications. So far no relash about it ;0)

I love the notion of being able to change our names to better suit who we are. It goes along with the thought that our family can be the one we were born into, or the one that we choose.
I have the trouble of having been married twice before, so I have too many surnames to choose from (4 if you count my maiden name). After marriage #2 I stopped changing, for professional and parental reasons, (as well as to take the name of my last and always love would mean I would have the same name as his previous wife-yikes on all sorts of levels!)It bugs my guy a bit I think that I still have the last name from a previous relationship, but that's tough, eh? The question remains... what name would I actually choose to have...
Jase- you can have my maiden name... How about Jase Denton-Smith? Sounds posh!
