When I'm working at my desk in my home office on a craft project, etc. I like to put everything back into its place when I'm totally done (not at the end of the day's work and I know I'll be back on the week-end).
When I do this it kind of clears the air for me and brings closure to that project. Then I can move on to the next bit of business with a clear mind. Somehow, this makes me feel more creative and less blocked.
I try to apply this principle to the house in general as well. But it seems to take a bit longer to get the house in as good an order as I would like!
