I need help identifing this bird.

It looks nearly identical to the picture below, except for a few things. Instead of being grey, it has a very noticable green tint. It also has a tiny blob of red feathers on the top of its head.
I know it cannot possibly be the bird pictured because it lives in Britain. I live quite across the ocean...
Does anyone know what this bird could be? My dad found it injured outside and brought it in for me to take care of until it gets better. I need to know what to feed it...

Is there any way you could post a picture of the actual bird that you have?

Also, if you haven't posted in the birding forum already - that would be a better place to put this as must of the people here are more knowlegeable about pet birds.
