I remember when I first read this book! I thought it was so exciting that such spiritual concepts were being presented in a fictional tale! The movie is now available on DVD. Check out my review of this movie: DVD Review of the Celestine Prophecy

The ending put me off, but yes it was a very interesting book. I'm transmitting energy to my baby veges that I'm growing.

Really?? Why did the ending put you off? (I ask this as I try to remember how it ended LOL).
I like to send energy to my plants too... what I liked about the movie (and what would make me watch it again) is that it made me remember all these things I promised I'd do (like sending energy to my plants and to other people) that I tend to forget.

I've read the book a few times but as I read Elle's comments I can't think of the ending.
A friend I worked with put me onto the book and we were pretty fanantical about discussing it back then. I have the movied zipped to watch.
Deanna, who were the familiar faces you mentioned from your review?

In Canada we have movie rental company called Zip.ca. It's the equivalent to Netflix I guess. When we have a movie marked for rental it is called zipped.
