Regarding baby items ...
You will have the best success in creating sets, or bundles of many items as opposed to selling one at a time.
That is the key to selling baby clothes, buyers love to see that they are getting several items, and listing them in bulk is a lot easier than one at a time ;-)
Lisa is right in the expectations, I know a friend who runs a successful seamstress business, he and his wife have tried selling dresses they have made but they are of such high quality ($900 - $1200) for a replica vintage ball gown and that's cheap for what they do. They couldn't get bids to even cover the cost of the materials let alone their labor.
Depending on what type of items you have made, there are some that have done very well on eBay.
Here are a few examples.HAND CROCHETED BABY SHOESHand Crocheted Baby Afghans HAND CROCHETED BABY BONNETCrocheted Baby Afghan
Do a search on eBay for the type of items you have - I did a search for hand crocheted baby - to get the results I did. Look on the left column for the completed items check box, and then click the search button below that and you will be presented with the completed auctions for your search. You can then sort them with a pull down in the upper right. I like to see the highest first to get an idea of what has sold for the most ;-)
Hope that helps . . . Scott
