I haven't crocheted in years! I did find a pattern that got me interested in picking it up again. But it doesn't say how many to chain on. How do I tell?
That is odd, Try reading the first row and some time at the end of a row there is a number to end up with. Then you can either add 1 more Chain for sc or 3 for a dc row.
Get the dust off the hooks. and start creating again !!
I have seen some patterns that has the amount to chain on a couple of lines above the first row instructions. Confusing. Does it say how big the project will end up and suggest a hook size?
