BellaOnline Forums Food and Wine Desserts New Dessert Editor

I wanted to introduce myself to everyone as the new Desserts editor at Bellaonline. I hope to present some fabulous, easy to make desserts, and hopefully to encourage people to try some new dishes you've never considered. I'm a Personal Chef in New Hampshire who loves to cook, and I particularly enjoy making and serving fabulous desserts. Like many Bella Online readers, I do need to watch my waistline, so I'll include some guilt-free but delicious recipes from time to time, as well as some WOW recipes that are great for serving company, friends and family.

I'll also be sharing some of my favorite cookbooks that feature fabulous desserts, and places to purchase hard-to-find ingredients. I'll also recommend special equipment that will make your life easier as you prepare wonderful desserts, and suggest the where to buy these at great prices.

Welcome! I love any dessert and since I don't spend every moment between desserts exercising, healthier desserts are always good! Do you by any chance have a recipe for healthier Tiramisu? Somewhere I heard of one that used tofu to replace the cheese, which I can see tasting fine as long as you mix in the right flavoring, but I don't know how you'd get the texture right.

Yes, I do have a slimmed down Tiramasu, and I will make this my next recipe to post. You won't believe that this one is low in fat! I hope to get to this within the next few days.
