Men and women are different in many ways. How about cheating? Which sex cheats more?

These days i think it has less to do with gender, and more to do with opportunity. Traditionally, men had more opportunities for affairs as they were the ones in the workplace, and out in the world in general. Women traditionally stayed at home with the kids, keeping the home fires burning.
But today, more women than ever work outside the home and have the same opportunities for affairs that men have.

I think that given the right conditions, anybody has the potential to cheat.

All right, apart from cheating, can we also talk about who has the higher potential of hurting other emotionally? Men or women?

Both men and women are equally likely to cheat, and hurt each other emotionally.

While I do agree that the sexes have their differences, I believe these are issues of character, and not of sex.

What brought this question on cdmohatta? What do you think?

You have raised a good point- Why did I think of this?
I have seen many women in India who are always thinking of troubling others. Their love is only for their children. I had the image of women being very good and the mother figure. After meeting many of them, I have now revised my opinion.

I was thinking about if I was biased? that is why this question.
Thanks.

I guess men more emotionally hurt women but I think women more do it deliberately.
