When I was looking for ways to start labor when you are 40 weeks pregnant, exercise was something that was frequently mentioned. I made some research and wrote an article about how to start labor with exercise. You can read the whole story at

My question would be....WHY would you want to start labor before your body did? Yes, I know all about being sick of being pregnant:) But, I am just of the belief that the baby will come when he/she is ready, and not a moment before.

I know a lot of women want to induce themselves because of pressure from caregivers who have their "protocol". Is this why those of you that try this do??

Good discussion.....
