Does anyone out there have experience with working and RV'ing? My husband and I are ready for semi-retirement and have been researching the idea of doing part time and temp work while Rv'ing.

We've been told there's lots of jobs out there and have checked the website for Workamping. I would also like to volunteer, maybe at historical sites.

I'd love to hear from those who have tried this. One friend told us be sure and get a signed contract BEFORE you go to take the job. That's about all I know.

You're talking about workamping and it's very prevelent out there. Have you logged on to Workampernews.com? They are the number 1 company matching campers and campgrounds. The person who told you to get an agreement before arriving was spot on. Make sure you understand the job, days off, pay, visitor rules, etc.
