We have had an Oranda for a year know, and it's been really healthy. For about a month it has been less active but nothing has been wrong. All of a sudden yesterday there was something black on her head, and know today it is bigger. I have been looking at disease pictures, but I can't find anything like it. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? She's know refusing to eat!

What does the mark look like specificially? big, small, swollen, round, blotchy...?

Also did you mean that she is refusing to eat or is eating?

I am not familar with the hole in head disease, so PaPeRo will have to help you will treatment suggestions for that, I am however familar with a wide range of more common ailments and can help you there.

Hope she starts getting better soon,
Fantails and Betas
